By doing this, you can determine which home upgrades are most financially sensible before deciding whether to replace your heating or cooling appliance. This will reduce heat gain or loss, enabling you to purchase smaller equipment and save on appliance costs, installation, and fuel expenses. Over-sizing your appliances will cost more to install, operate annually, and require more maintenance. Upgrading the home before replacing the heating or cooling equipment makes the most sense. Changing the heating or cooling appliance first, then doing upgrades to the home, will make properly sized equipment oversized after the upgrades to your home.

What you need to do to get an accurate heat loss and heat gain performed
1. Measure accurately, and your accuracy improves our accuracy.
2. Fill out the forms completely for accuracy (questions? ask--call or email)
3. Quick drawing of home exterior. Note the direction of one side --- Not looking for artists -- View drawing 1 and drawing 2 or digital photos of all four sides (outside only please)
You can choose between three options
Price is the same, and the accuracy is highest to lowest.
1. Online forms - will get you the most accurate information by asking more questions. This is a conditional form that will skip certain questions or sections that are not pertinent to your answers.
Open and fill out this form first. This will give us your contact information and general details about your home required for your heat-loss calculation. When completed, submit the form.
Information about you and your home
Next, open the heat loss form. The first question is the Form #; enter a number starting at 1. After you submit the form, you will have the option to open a blank form just like the one you just finished. Number it as Form #2 and so on. A new form will be required for each room. If you have 10 rooms, you will need to fill out and submit 10 separate forms.
The next question is your last name. This is how we keep the forms for each job together. When submitted, they will be automatically sent to my email for processing. You will receive a thank-you note that includes a link to reopen the form and start another room form.
